Custom programming allows CAD to be much more than the usual 'electric pencil' and can be used to provide any required level of automated drawing. This can consist of simply stringing together a few commonly used commands or can be as much as a fully automated process that can prepare a complete drawing from a file containing the design parameters.
Developed documentation to assist in the conversion of programming from User Commands to MicroStation BASIC.
Developed programming examples in both Microstation BASIC and User Commands, which improved support performance and allowed me to handle more calls than the other analysts in my department. Provided telephone support for users,
identified and debugged their programs. Advised on usage of custom programming that was specific to their environment.

Produced solution-search database which was implemented and used throughout the department.
